We are seeking a results-driven leader who can learn to identify the correct acquisition opportunities through site visits and asking the right questions. The right person must be a natural relator who can help establish and maintain broker relationships. This individual will be critical in deciding the firms interest in potential acquisitions, refinances and will play an integral role in determining the correct disposition strategy. As the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, you will be responsible for a team of 10-12 individuals who play critical roles in achieving the portfolios performance standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and has a deep understanding of both operations and M&A. We are looking for an ambitious, curious, action-oriented, problem solver and critical thinker.

Responsibilities

 

·        Identify opportunities for a potential acquisition through site visits and proper questions

·        Establish and maintain broker relationships

·        Develop keen individual market knowledge

·        Obtain a sound working knowledge of The Connor Group operations

·        Build acquisition proforma’s

·        Assess rental rates and potential competition

·        Use data to form an opinion on pricing


Qualifications

·        Demonstrated experience in business with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes.

·        Strong business and financial acumen with a comprehensive understanding of business operations.

·        Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with, relate to, and influence others.

·        Adept at building and maintaining strong professional relationships with executives and associates across all organizational levels.

·        Proficiency in organizing and managing multiple components effectively, with a proven ability to execute under tight deadlines.

·        Ability to ensure confidentiality and earn the highest levels of trust.

·        Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, efficient and ability to multi-task.

·        Exceptional written and verbal communication, practical experience with data and analytics, and creative problem-solving skills.

·        Experience creating, leading and executing strategies.

·        Articulate a clear vision, develop a strategy to get to that vision and execute no matter the timeline.

·        Skilled with delivering timely feedback, holding self and others accountable, as well as recognizing and rewarding accomplishments. 

·        Work strategically and tactically; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

·        Energetic, resourceful, highly motivated and accountable.
